    TOLERANCE BREAK!! HELP!!

yeah definitely dude, even after three days you notice a difference (for me anyway) People say that the whole tolerance thing isn't true, but i definitely think it is, at least psychologically anyway. If you take two weeks off, you'll be golden. Good luck bro, hope you clear your head during your break and prepare to get super stoned in two weeks!

yeah you've never heard of that? I mean thats what i've gathered from posts here in the past. I mean its not suppose to cause a physical addiction, i mean it's not like there's nicotine in it or something. I agree with that, sounds about right to me, but I definitely believe there's some sort of psychological addiction that may form and cause the effects to diminish amirite? I'm pretty stoned right now so im just rambling. heh

I'm pretty sure its nothing to do with addiction, just the amount of thc in your system building up or something..eh dunno really

    TOLERANCE BREAK!! HELP!!

I'm a big advocate of being able to enjoy the "sober" life and the high life. Certainly, for me, doing that enables me to enjoy both lifestyles more then if I just stuck to one or the other all the time.

I don't mean to judge anyone; I can only speak from my own personal experience. But if I smoke *any* amount everyday (much less 3 grams a day) I build up a tolerance that is immediately noticeable. If I make sure to take at least a day or two off in between "smoking days", then my high's are always quite a bit more noticeable and very enjoyable. If I smoke every day the effects aren't as noticeable to me, and the high is not as "strong".

This is probably b/c THC has lingering effects that can last 24 hours or more (at least for me). Not terribly strong effects... but they do tend to linger in the form of a more laid back attitude, relaxed state of mind, etc. If you smoke every day, then each session bleeds into the next and you forget what it is like to be stone cold sober. Then, because of that, you forget what it is like to be totally high. It is sort of like how you can't have hot without cold, happy without sad, etc.

If I were you, I'd reduce the intake. If you are using that much for a medical condition, then that's a different story. But if your medical needs allow for less use, then you might benefit from toning it down a bit.

Take a couple weeks off, and then try every other day (at the most) and I think you would be better off. Again though... to each his own. Everyone probably reacts to the Herb differently. I'm just relating my own experience with it.

    TOLERANCE BREAK!! HELP!!

i am in full support of taking a few days or weeks off to regain your "video-game-highs". i myself booked a 3-month break for job interviews, smoked for a few weekends, and am back on my break (unwillingly lol).

I would like to offer some precautionary advice, though. if you take two days, two weeks, or even two months off, and then begin smoking heavily again, your first few days will be quite awesome and you'll feel like your in that video game of yours. but continue to smoke like that and you'll be right back at square one. I think there is probably something where your body kind of "remembers" it's tolerance. At least for me, I know that I took this past March off, and the first couple sessions blew me away. But after making up for all the lost smoking time - which is what you'd tend to do after abstaining for that long - it felt as if I hadn't taken a break at all.

Sorry to be long-winded, just want you to really be sure you're making your break COUNT!
