I was wandering local plant stores and found this...would something like this be efficient enough to grow in? Does it actually work?

Search around here and you will see a lot of discussion on those things. Cute, but impractical. Cannabis gets too big for those systems; the only way to do it would be start with lowryder that stays tiny or with clones of a plant that you know to be female and mature. Even then, you can get a lot more bang for your buck in many other ways!

I currently have 5 ak47xlowrider plants growing on my window sill right now....the problem is we have alot of rain this part of year so it's really cloudy out, but it is always soooo humid down here that plants flourish outside... My current plan is to let them grow on my balconly in separate pots, but would this be more practical?

Yeah, pots are a lot easier to deal with than a system with SUCH limited space!!!

Alright well the plants are currently in styrofoam cups in miracle gro organic potting mix and going on their second week of being potted....so far they are about 3 inches tall...im just watering them with a mist 2-3 times a day....i think i might replot them each in their own 3 gal pots later during the week...
