That 2006 thread you bumped re: corn syrup had some real 'gems' in it :wtf:.
Stop fertilizing. That is a LOT of feed and you may be salting your soil. There's no way to flush a plant in the ground, and overapplication of chemical ferts will sour your garden soil. I'd stick with organics as much as possible if you plan to use the spot again the next year.

NO CORN SYRUP. Stop fertilizing. Just do light, regular treatments with serenade to keep the rot at bay and if you want to cover the plants for the rain, go for it. Take the cover off as SOON as the rain is over and let them air out. Stagnant, moist air under the tarp isn't much better than a shower! I am going to be camping in Maine this weekend and not looking forward to the rain either.

Just FYI- please don't talk about selling the crop. It's against site rules and puts us in danger of closer scrutiny from whoever is watching the boards.

Yesterday they looked fine except I broke or bent a top cola branch I tied it with some string it seems to be okay. BUT today I have 3 plants that are looking horrible. The leaves are curled and brown, dried up. Also I have a few plants that have little black bugs on them. They are in the buds. If you enlarge the photo the one with my hand holding the branch you can see the bugs. But I need help Rating: 5
