1x1' grow box plan

I will be starting my first grow soon and would like some feedback.

I need this box to be very small, stealthy, and cheap.
The box I am thinking of is a 1x1x3.5' box from Lowes.

I plan on starting 3 plants from bagseed in 5x5x6.5in containers with 2 26w daylight CFL. (3400 lumens)
Then pick one female to flower using a 2 gallon pot and 1 26w daylight CFL and 1 42w warm light CFL. (4500 lumens)

I will be using a computer fan to vent out the top and another fan inside for general air flow.

Do you guys think this is enough space, light / reasonable to pull off? How many grams do you think I could expect to yield from this? Thanks for any input.

hmmm. Well...the lowes link doesn't work for me so i can't get a look at the box. But from what you are saying...1x1x3.5...it sounds pretty small.

I'm hoping that the 3.5 is the height. you won't be able to do much of anything with only 12" of height. If infact this box is 3.5' tall, then you may be able to fit one plant in there.

I'm a hydro guy, but If you are doing soil from seed, most people will suggest starting in a rapid rooter, or a dixie cup, or something smaller than the 5x5x6.5 container you mentioned.

My suggestion would be to do something like a stealth rubbermaid grow. or a small SCROG, or a LST to keep your height way down.

You'll want to have more lights for flowering. When i tried to do a small closet/cabinet grow i found a 3 bulb fixture at lowes for $9.98. I used 2 of those and had 6 CFLs (i forget the wattage...i think it was like 46w each bulb)

You are going to want to shoot for an even canopy, making the most of the little room you have.
