:rastasmoke:I started 2 plants by curiosity. Now I think im hooked on this. I developed a green thumb. I have thought about doing this in the past but now im in a position that it is easy for me to do. Stelth is not a factor.
but,..
Im new at this. I have invested some money building me a cabinet to hold these. I build a 36"x36"x9' cabinet. Hoever i see that I have made a small mistake by not using a smooth reflective material on the inside.
first problem I would like to fix is that I have some yellowing leaves.
Location of cabinet in in my garage. temp does fluctuate about 20 degs.
any help?Slimonize Reviewed by Slimonize on . New at this Please help :rastasmoke:I started 2 plants by curiosity. Now I think im hooked on this. I developed a green thumb. Hey thanks for the info,
I will give you the skinny on this. I started this because I now have the space and privacy.
I built the box from 2x4's and 1/4" plywood in my garage. I insulated with a reflective padding. my thought that this material is shiny and insulates well. I also sealed the ouside so no air can get in with out going through a bathroom fan with a speed control. I used a 4" dryer hose to suck air out.
winters get brutal here and i want to solve this problem before it gets to cold and i kill them.
I used a spce heater in a fire safe box and set the thermostat to keep at 80 deg. my first question is :
do i need to add humidity to the air once it has been heated to 80 deg.
second im using a humidifier to add moisture. can there be too much humidity?
and lastly. can there be too much air circulation?
Thanks in advance

No laughing, promise! That's cool.
Suggestions:
-Your light needs to be adjustable so you have it RIGHT ABOVE the plants at all times, and when you switch to flower you will need more light, like a HPS400. Flouros can't penetrate a deep canopy like HPS can.
-See if you can control your temps through different vent configs/schedules and possibly the addition of a SMALL space heater for the 'night' time. Keep the swing at about 10'. This is good for 3 main reasons, including preventing dewfall and mold, reducing stress, and keeping the plants from stretching too much which they do with a big temp swing, and you can't afford stretch under flouros because of the canopy penetration.
Nice work, keep it up!
