Some strains are purple to begin with, so trying to 'wash-out' the purple is likely not your goal. (at least it shouldn't be...)

How often are you flushing? Should never be more than once a month, unless treating a problem. (flushing too often is a good way to develop root rot)

I stick to my regular nute schedule till last week of flower. 3 to 4 days before harvest, I flush well. If another watering is needed, plain ph'd water only. (likely unnecessary)
Rusty Trichome Reviewed by Rusty Trichome on . important flushing question my buddy flushed his plant out 2 weeks ago thinking it would be ready by now but its not. in fact the buds are turning purple and trichs still clear and cloudy. the leaves are all green aside from the remaining original fan leaves. do you folks think we should continue feeding regular water or give it a kick of nutes? the buds all look mature, and are nearly rock hard. i dont know if it will mature to its fullest with just water, or if maybe there are still nutes to be had in remaing leaves Rating: 5
