Nikolaus Reviewed by Nikolaus on . diesel ryder winter grow Hi All So I have decided to start a new grow that will incorporate both inside and outside grow elements. I will be growing on our balcony but will be able to move it easily inside if it starts to get too cold something I don't think will be an issue for me. The strain I am going with is Diesel Ryder from Joint Doctor so they should finish between Xmas and New Years. I bought this small tiered greenhouse I plan on using only one two of the shelves but may use more depending on the spacing. I Rating: 5

Nikolaus, Not sure what happen to your pictures but they didn't come out.
Jimbob, I noticed the wilting too I water them 1-2 times a week. I think the smaller one was a little injured when my cat sat on her(G) The second which is wilting more I think might be having issues with the metal rod its touching since at night it probably gets too cold I am having some trouble with regulating the temps. They aren't getting any worse so I am hoping they'll be okay. Which do you think at this stage would be less damaging too much heat (90s) or too much cold (high 50's)?

Hum, i guess it was cause my album was private. Just opened it, so if the pics are still off just go to my ak47 album and check them out.
I water mine when i feel the soil it not wet anymore. Like 1, 1 and 1/2 times a day.
So guys, do you thing the problem with the little ones is genetic? I sorted that out, but it's just a guess as the conditions for all babies are the same.
Salute,
Niki

About the temperatures, it's my third grow but the first one with 400w bulb and more than one plant.
Round here the temperatures sometimes hit the 90's and humidity 40%. In the other experiences this doesn't happened to be a problem. I notice my bottom leaves are getting yellow and dying slowly, but i guess that's pretty much part of the process (with the other 2 was just the same). What do you think?

Nikolaus, They look good. I had one male that was tiny it never grew beyond being 4" it wasn't right since it popped its head. I have been having trouble regulating the temps so that may have effected all of them I know that they will not finish at 60 days might be closer to 90. I have some diselryder growing in a closet grow and at 3 1/2 weeks they are significantly larger then the ak-47 was at 3 weeks. Also the dieselryders males already have balls.

Nice Luna. Actually i don't have males.
I'm not sure the tiny one is gonna make it. There two of them, but one seems to be getting a little stronger everyday.
Have you ever heard about those varieties producing almost 2 oz. , as described by the growers?

Nikolaus, At this point I will be happy if I get an ounce per plant. I haven't found many grow logs with different AF strains so I am not sure if anyone ever gets 2 oz. One thing is for sure if they claim that their auto ak-47 as their higher yielder they I probably won't be trying anymore of theirs. I plan on trying some white dwarf they are suppose to veg for two months and then auto flower....the quest continues(G)

So did you ever finish this grow? What was your final yield? Can you share some pictures? They looked great in the last pics you posted.
I see a lot of grow logs that people never finish and I'm thinking...why did you keep a grow log in the first place if you're not going to finish it? lol

Hi, A lot of the grows got lost when the site went down. The pump died on me and I didn't notice in time so I lost all but two of the DR's. Fortunately of the survivors one was male and one was female so I was able to do a seed run on them. The yield was small I'd say the girl was maybe 6" while the male got to about 8" but the potency was very good so I plan on growing them again. They are a bit of a pain during germination but after the first week they are a very hardy strain.
