    Fan Leaf Removal During Flowering?

Yea or nay? The fan leaves on my "friends" Lemon Skunk are immense, easily 8 inches across, and are blocking light from reaching lower branches. Pinch them off or leave them? TIA.

    Fan Leaf Removal During Flowering?

If you cut them off you will be cutting the food supply to the growing buds. The buds themselves produce only a fraction of the sugars that they need to grow. The fan leaves produce most of the plant's food. Let the plant decide when the fan leaves should go! I pick them only when they are yellowed.

Tuck em in / out of the way . Granny speaks the truth about food supply . Added stress during flower is never a good thing anyways .
