Just joined the boards, this being my first post i would like to ask a question. How secure are these forums? and what i mean by secure i mean how safe should I feel about anything i type?

such as advice, and general conversation.

just a concern since i dont want legal matters.

You should refrain from using any info that gives out your real name,address,telephone #,etc..you should always presume that there are narcs who come here,and make sure that your computer security,is up to snuff. It would also be nice,if you refrain from using profanity..but it's apparently okay..most of the time.

If you want to discuss details that should be private,you can git a hushmail account or something similar,make sure that your browser supports 128bit encryption,or git a Cafe membership here,to communicate with pm's to other members. You could also use an anonymous proxy server,like anonymizer.com ,in order to hide your ip addy.
