It would work but one of the points of the Green Dragon is that your solvent purity should be as high as possible- in commercial drinkable alcohol, the solvent in question is alcohol and water is simply an impurity! haha
So the most pure form of this ethanol solvent that is commercially available down the Packie (Masshole-speak for liquor store) is going to be Bacardi 151. If you can find Everclear, that works to. If you can find neither, look for the highest-proof booze around. Don Julio is fabulous as a beverage but as a solvent for Green Dragon it's not quite the strength that you would ideally like, and also since it is so expensive, it's kind of a waste of money.
Will it work? Sure.
Will it work ideally? Not quite. It's not the potency so much as the efficiency of extraction- you might not get everything out of your bud. But it certainly will dissolve enough to be medicinal.

My question is will tequilla work for green dragon? its 38% called Don Julios from mexico and supposd to be mid level, its brown in colour. also if it does work would the potency be lower?
