I'm afraid I don't have much faith in American voters anymore. After living through the turbulent 60's and 70's I just don't see much invovlment by voters anymore. They take a sound bite off the tv. The candidate says he's a patriot so he gets the vote because I'm a patriot too. That seems to be how in depth people get into candidates any more.
