The urine samples temp is checked as a counter-measure to deter substitution. Once the sample is bagged and sent off, temperature no longer becomes a factor.

The collector pretty much hanged herself when she remarked about the temp on the form. Now she has some explaining to do to her superiors (and the lab) as to why there wasnt a second sample collected and processed along with the questionable sample. She shouldnt have remarked at all. But oh well, she screwed up. Now she has to answer for that.
