    is it ready yet?

i have been growing my plant for nearly 3 months and im wondering whether it is ready to flower yet? it is Big Bud, and about 3 ft tall. the smaller leaves are starting to grow in clusters, and at the side of eash smaller shoot there is a pointy shoot that is about a cm long, and doesnt grow leaves, what are these, do they mean it is showing its sex? sorry to sound so dumb but its my first time growing.thanks for any help i get.

yes, put it into 12/12 cycle now... your plant will grow 30-40% during flowering.. so expect a 5-6 foot plant.. gl!

i would expect at least 10oz=280grams from a plant of this size.....3 months of vegetation is too long, so the yield should be a very good one as the plant is already a big one.....i put mine into a month veg and grew two feet tall....then within 3 weeks stopped growing at a height of almost 5 feet.....i think with cannabis applies this rule ''the bigger, the better''....

Sorry, but there is no such thing as letting a plant go too long in veg state. you can keep a plant indefinatly in veg, as long as you want. there is no difference in how old it gets. the pot size limits its growth size, ask anyone who keeps mother plants for years. And I hate to burst your bubble, but your not gonna get no 10 oz from that plant. your first guess was a little closer, and thats if grown optimaly. And dont weigh your buds till their dry, wet buds dont count, their all water. Plant height has nothing to do with yeild. Root mass does. roots = buds. peace.

i transplanted them to a 10 inch pot 2 weeks ago cos the roots had out grown the 6 inch one and it had stopped growing as quick.since i have transplanted it it has grown over a foot and the stalk has gone a lot thicker.
