In Palin's case it was ONLY about the photo OP. She wanted the cameras, just not the reporters. She wanted someone to take pictures of her meeting with foreign leaders, but no one to know what they talked about or what was said. They were probably worried about her saying something assinine.

Her handlers desperately want the pictures, and that is why they finally backed down when CNN said it would not air photos without a pool reporter present. Then they pulled a fast one and ran the reporter out as soon as the picture was taken.

But this is just turning into another Palin backfire. Instead of getting the story that she met with world leaders, the story is turning into more about how she has no substance whatsoever. She's a pretty face, good for pictures, but not much else.
I know these meetings are suppose to be all about the press and glamour of it all but what the hell huh?

Assnine comments; you mean like meeting a Dictator with no preset conditions or he's just a crazy ol' uncle? How about instead of a pretty face a pretty speech from "02", as Clinton would put it. I think that the Dem team of Pelosi, Reid and Obama have a lock on your concerns. Instead of assnine I'd have to say the three asses. I'm sure that this will prove to be an issue in the upcoming election.

Palin is REALLY getting under a few of the dems skins....must have been the surge in the polls for McCain to go after a V.P. candidate like this. In order to make this "fair and balanced", I guess we'll have to find some things out about Biden now. LOL

Have a good one!:s4:
