I did see the Dead when they toured and I was somewhat disappointed because the energy just was not there as it was when Jerry played. This is hard to explain if you never been to a show when Jerry was around, but for those of you that have, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I have been doing the festival thing and have been going to the Ratdog, Phil and Friends, and Dark Star Orchestra shows every chance I get. These shows have been filling that need to get my fix of the Dead Played Live:thumbsup: But this should bring back the way I remember it and for you that have never been this is your chance to see what I am talking about. (I hope)

Peace:hippy:

Good shit man, I did a little bit of festival hoppin' back in 03. I hit up bonnaroo and a couple of Dead shows. Unfortunately I was only 7 when Jerry Passed so I never had the chance to see the Grateful Dead, but I can imagine the energy at that type of show. I am still grateful that I was able to see The Dead play though. This show you're going to isn't going to be the first time that Warren Haynes is filling in for Jerry. I've also been to a couple of RatDog shows...I fucking love ratdog!
