First Grow - Loose ends need tying please:
Hello all. Thank you for providing such ample knowledge to us new folks.
Plan/Space:
Closet:
- Dimensions: 18" x 6' x 6.5'
- Soil
- Budget not a big issue - I want an effective system
Goals:
- Separate veg and flowering stations
- At least 4 preferably 6 plants flowering at a time
- maintain a mother plant for creating clones
Cloning/Space:
So I guess I will throw out the questions (I have a lot) and you can just gimme your best advice -
Is it possible to have a mother and clones in a separate part of the closet? Do I have room? What type of bulb/setup do I need for this - I was thinking a 250w MH? Read the next question before you answer this.
Instead of using a mother plant to clone, can I just snip a clone from a plant I already have in a the veg growth stage?
Lighting:
So depending on the cloning issue above, what type of lights do you think I need? I was thinking getting a 250w HID and a 250w MH lamp.
Soil/Nutrients:
What type of soil should I use?
Fertilizer in veg growth state?
Fertilizer in flowering state?
What type of pots should I use? I was thinking 5 gallon buckets?
These are some of my most important issues I have before I start. Any input would be most appreciated.
