Growin' for fun? A setback,
Growin' meds? ...
Nothin' wrong with takin' a wild-ass guess either, as long as you label it as such.
It's commendable that you want to help, but this is way too serious and way too real for some of us.
I'm not about to advise Stemis with so little information.
It would be a disservice.
I'm sure the real solid experts here feel the same.
So, they wait for details, or ask for details, then suggest solutions from years of knowlege and experience, FOR FREE!
That's a hard deal to beat,ya?
I'm still waiting for an answer about the media, (Hydrotron?).
Which could be the key to this lock.
No answer?
Movin' along.
Good luck,

He is going to have to dump out all the water in his reservoir and start over. That's the only solution.

Weezard is absolutely correct.....ok not about the me being priceless part but the rest of it is dead on.

You DO usually get what you pay for. Distilled water has absolutely ZERO to do with ph and its own issues (nothing good for the plants) to deal with.
But asnwering questions and writing down information is a hassle....its work. You have to write things down, get facts right, and actually put some energy into things....AND ... Interesintingly.....exactly the same thing the answerer must do to get in order to get the CORRECT answers you want and that will solve your problem. Yet if you are not willing to do put the energy and effort into your grow.....why in the world should I?
Weezard is a true sweetie by saying we help for free. I don't in any way pretend to be God.....but I sure like his saying about helping those who help themselves. That one's a keeper

It's your hydroton.
Keep adding your pH down until you get it stable over the course of several hours, then do a COMPLETE res change and re-fill with whatever your water of choice is- tap water if it is not too 'hard', or distilled water with calmag in it. Bring that to the correct pH and you should have a much more stable pH over time.
Your problem is that you MUST soak hydroton in water pH'd to 5.8-6.0 before use, and let it sit at least 24h to determine that indeed it IS stable, then rinse well and use.
