wow, tired out :wtf: ... got off my ass long enough to install a roof vent shroud on my trailer yesterday, then, today, I installed a 130-watt solar panel on the van roof ... will wire it all up tomorrow, just in time for our '7-days straight' of predicted rain :wtf: ... story of my life: perfect timing :jointsmile:

I took the 'middle route', thru northern NM, into UT and NV, so 'Continental Divide' pics mostly the southern end (Taos, NM area, etc), not quite as mountainous, but very pretty ...

I put my solar panel on the roof of the van, rather than on the trailer ... I figure, this way, I can park the trailer in the shade, while leaving the panel out in the sunlight ... sure is scary, drilling holes in the roof of a brand-new vehicle :wtf: ... :jointsmile:

shit :wtf: ... got my mail today, a letter says the new CA state budget has taken away a major Medicaid benefit, starting Nov. 1st (lots of prior notice, eh?) ... they'll no longer pay my Medicare Pt.B premiums ... that's another $96/month out of the old pocket ... :S2: (what, me worry?)

Very sorry to hear this news. Maybe we ( the people of the U.S.) should have bailed out our elderly and others on fixed incomes instead of bailing out some assholes in the banking industry.
