yup, I've been over that several times, great road  ... this time, I took US50 to Utah's I-70, just long enough to jump off onto US36, (east of Denver), took that east into IL ... after 31 years of driving the 'highways', I'm extremely fond of lesser-traveled 2-lane backroads ... after my trailer pickup in TX, will run almost all 2-lane, NW towards Reno, NV ... hoping I don't meet blizzards when I go thru Taos, NM area, etc :wtf: ... never too early in the year, to snow at the higher elevations ...

FINALLY !, leaving the state on a trip  got a 'ready-date' on my travel trailer, from the factory ... scheduled to be finished mid-October ... going to IL first, spread my Mom's ashes, and do the family/friends visits for a couple weeks ... then, will drive down to Texas (I like Texans :)), get my trailer, and drag it back to northern CA ... taking mostly 2-lane scenic routes, so I'll post some pics ... worried about my gas expenses ... I figured about $1250 gas for the whole trip, Rating: 5
