Newbie Kind of confused
If I have succesfully germinated some bagweed seeds I had from a few days ago, and they have all sprouted the root and all that . Do i need to plant them in pots with lights to start or do I put them in dirt and give them some time to sprout on their own? or do I need to use the light from the moment i plant the seed in the small pot sorry if its a silly question but im new to this part of it lol

You need to put them in soil as soon as you see them crack and that little white tap root appears. You will need small 3'' starter pots or some use red plastic cups and put holes in the bottom for drainage ( very important ).
Fill the container with soil mix and gently pack it down until around 1/2'' to 1'' of the container remains from soil to top. Then use a ball point pen and make a hole around 1'' deep into the soil and then gently place the cracked seed into this hole, cover hole with soil and gently pack again.
Now water slowly with plain water (no nutrients added ) until the soil is saturated. Then place a piece of saran wrap over the top of the container and place under a light in a warm place.
After a few days the sprout should appear and remove the saran wrap, now place a fan in the area so a gentle breeze is blowing over the sprouts to build stem strength and keep them from stretching. Keep light either on a 24/0 or a 18/6 light cycle.
This should get you started.
Best of luck with your grow:thumbsup:
