Put them into whatever you can find. The cuttings can be put into Jiffy things, lot's of people use them. I root in promix or coco. As long as the cutting is cared for properly it will be happy. I use 7.0 ph water for the first week and then 6.5 the second week. After roots begin forming use 1/4 dose nutrients and increase strength gradually throughout vegging process. Works for me.
grey1223 Reviewed by grey1223 on . ph for cloning ok, i am just about ready to take some cuttings from one of my mothers and i've never done the clone thing before so bear with me..... i'm assuming i can dunk the cuttings in water, then into the cloning powder, then at this point everyone else says put them into rockwool cubes or something.... i don't have any of these so is it possible to stick them directly into jiffy peat pellets? or some other soil combination? i'm assuming a peat based soil would hold water best for clones but strictly Rating: 5
