Thanks for answering - I really appreciated it. The plants that have a lot of seeds on them do not have any white hairs on them either (so that's why I thought they were male). When I take the seeds off these plants, I also see yellow pollen on my finger and on the plant where there are no seeds..would this be a hemie?

I would have to see pictures since I'm not even honestly sure if you have a female, but yellow pollen is an indicator of a male part. You either have a hermie or a male.
