Quest Labs and Quick Fix 4.2
So I got offered a job that requires a UA at Quest Labs. Originally I was planning on going with the dillution method as in the sticky. However, after much reading on this board, and the fact that I will only have been clean for about 8 days, I am thinking that QF is a better, safer way to go. I already ordered my QF 4.2 a few days ago and I got it yesterday. I am pretty confident that after some practice I should be able to nail the temperature. My only concern is that there will not be enough in the QF bottle to fill the specimin cup up to the required level. Does anyone have any experience using QF at a Quest Lab that could shed some light on my concern?

The QF comes in a 2 ounce bottle which is plenty. I had a drug tech ask for more once and rather than argue with him I just used a little of my heavily dilluted urine.

Ya, that's probably what I'll do...water load before I go just in case. But does anyone know how much Quest Labs actually wants you to give?

2 oz is plenty. The collector may ask for more, only to discard the excess.
Under DHHS Guidelines, the collector has to accept the sample if 2 oz is all what the donor can submit. To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html

I have done quest so many times I should have my picture on a wall there. Just practice and it will be so easy you will laugh. They will not ask for more and even if they do, just pour the QF in the cup and tell them thats all you could go. QF will be more the enough and heres some tips about quest and QF.

Thanks for the advice guys. I am starting to feel a lot more confident about the whole thing. My plan is to microwave it for 5-10 seconds and then rubber-band the heating pad to the bottle. I have about a 20 to 30 minute drive to the closest lab so I will have to pick up some whitey-tighties (I am a boxers guy) and tuck the bottle under the boys. I should be good to go.

Quest Labs and Quick Fix 4.2
Well ladies and gents....this morning I officially joined the sub club. I was a nervous wreck but it actually was a piece of cake. They didn't even have me empty my pockets! I got my QF up to about 98 in the microwave, attached the hand warmer and crammed that thing underneath the jewels. Then I drove the 20 minutes or so to the lab, stopped in a parking lot to check the temp one last time, and it was still somewhere between 96 and 98. So I went in, filled out my paperwork, got the instructions, went in and filled up the cup. Let me tell you, at least at the lab I went to, the 2 ozs of QF was waaaay more than enough to fill up the cup to where they wanted. When I poured it in, I checked the temp strip and it was at 94...golden! Then I dropped a little peepee in the toilet went and got the tech, and the rest is history! Thanks guys!!! You really helped me through a nerve-wracking time!
