The Chemtrail 101

Hope nobody minds, but that Chemtrail thread isnt much help to anyone! A lot of uninformed opinions.

Im sad to say, from what I can tell, there are two types of lines in our skies. There are contrails from normal plane exhaust and what have been called 'chemtrails'.

The Facts on regular Contrails.
Contrails are mostly water vapour
Contrails are usually thin lines that disperse and become invisible within minutes
Contrails are usually single lines in the sky, though this depends on plane
Contrails leave no mark on the sky
Contrails are safe for our atmosphere
Contrails never cross paths, this is due to how planes are directed and how quickly a contrail dissapears.

The Facts on man-made Chemtrails
Chemtrails spread into cloud cover and sometimes has fallout (cob-web like filaments, red/yellow powders, milky-white fluid).
Chemtrails are usually spread in grid-like structures, these spread out across the sky, depending on wind, and usually cover a sky within 3-4 hours.
Chemtrail effected areas show high levels of barium, boron, aluminium and silica among other substances that are harmful to breathe in.
Chemtrails do not dissapear, this is because, unlike contrails, they are not mostly water vapour.

So now we can see, if chemtrails were in anyway similar to contrails, they would act similarly and have similar results.

I have never seen for myself who is doing this, I just know itâ??s being done. Ive seen it many times with my own eyes.

Realising this is true it the first step to making it stop. It is dangerous.

Guys these aren't chemtrails. They are formed through the injection of water vapor into the atmosphere by exhaust fumes from a jet engine. If there is sufficient mixing between the cold upper tropospheric air and the hot exhaust gases to produce a state of saturation, ice crystals will develop. Like clouds. there is absolutely nothing harmful about these clouds.

Alright, which is simpler? The government is exposing its own citizens to various chemicals by spraying them out of jet engines in an incredibly inefficient manner, leaving the chemicals to travel randomly by wind without any control whatsoever as to who or what the chemicals affect, or "chemtrails" are simply a thermodynamic result of (as highimpact said) spraying hot exhaust in a cold environment. Hey what happened the last time you had a shower? Did your mirror fog up? Hey, that's condensation from the hot water vapor on your cold mirror! Oh wait, those form clouds in the sky! That's probably the reason why "chemtrails" do not disappear.

As a scientist, I know you never perform an experiment without having a hypothesis and control. What is their control here? I mean, its possible they spray chemtrails in some select cities but not in others, but there are many, many people claiming to have seen them in many cities. If the conspiracy is big enough that you have to say the program is just too big to comprehend, its probably just a pattern in the mist- the brain is excellent at picking out patterns, and we often pick out these patterns in random nonsense.

But hey, this is America, go toke up and believe what you will, as long as you don't impose those beliefs on others (too bad it never works that way)

There's a kookie old lady in my old (small) hometown who has been writing about chemtrails in the local paper for years. The problem with most of these theories; moonlandings, chemtrails, crop-circles etc, is that folk hear one long and compelling argument followed by a "My God, that proves it!", when it should be followed by a "damn, that seems to prove it, can I find arguments to the contrary?"

Look at the Fox special on the moonlanding being faked. It's really well presented, it's VERY convincing, and tons of people have watched it gone "OMG! That's indisputable!" But there are those of us who actually researched further, checked the counter arguments and, sure enough, they can blow Fox and their bullshit away.

You should stay on the topic, what's being discussed is chemtrails not the moon landing. Your broad, all or nothing thinking about conspiracies is faulty. There are conspiracies that are admitted & historical fact such as Gulf of Tonkin incident, Iran Contra and Operation Gladio to name a few.

Those are from Alex Jones affiliated websites, so some misguided people (who are sometimes referred to as 'sheeple') may say "that automatically means that it's fake", even though Alex Jones' sites have a far better track record of accuracy than the evening news. But in the articles there are hyperlinks to a mainstream news report in the first one & government sources in the second.

I'm with Gandalf on this one, I would be more worried about antibiotics in food and what the USDA is up to than stress about this stuff.

Spraying anything up there, with gulfstream winds topping 400kmh is not gong to land on anyone observing them. It is such an unpredictable way of applying an agent of this type as to be not worth considering. It would bt MUCH easier to affect the water supply or food supply with your agent of choice. Spraying up there could cause fallout thousands of miles away, with unpredictable results.

I studied biological weapons deployment at uni as part of my degree (my final year dissertation as it happens) focusing primarily on bacteriological agents, so this isn't just something I'm pulling out of my ass, I do find it very hard to believe this is some sort of mass spraying attempt to infect everyone with some sort of agent.

Just my 2 cents as you chaps like to say
