Is this what you mean, by the 'hybrid vigor'? These kids seem to be growing exceptionly fast...but maybe its just me...These have not been "schoosed" down in the rapid rooters like I usually do....

probably a little of each ... I still doubt the seedlings like 'scootching' ... as far as I know, hybrid vigor shows itself in every facet of development ... faster, bigger, stronger, etc. ... the first 'NorCal Daddy's Girl' blew me away, she just grew 'better' than my others, best way I can describe it ... I would assume that is characteristic of 'hybrid vigor' ... I'll be in Illinois corn country in a couple weeks, I'll ask my farmer buddies ... they explained the hybridized corn programs to me, was very enlightening to this old city boy ... again, good work, Treetops, I'm very interested how these turn out, as I was preparing for the same hybrid ... I think you have a potential 'Cup-Winner' there :thumbsup:

From the way these babies took off I'd say they got "hybrid vigor" alright!! Out of 6 seeds they all took right off except for 2...which are still in the rapid rooter womb...cracked but thats it..slow growers...
Yes, and I have you to thank for the idea..as I enjoyed the Sour Jack almost as much as the NCDG..now together...I can't wait to see how great it will be...We will one day experience it together...:thumbsup:
