Yes, I am lucky to live in California now. Yet when I started smoke that repressive nightmare you live with, WAS the case in California and all the other states as well!

There was no such thing as "medical" marijuana- it wasn't even a concept! The closest I found back then, was a brief reference in an anthropology book about cannabis in tequila as an arthritis rub! A bit of green or a roach or even a couple of seeds could get you 20 years in California. Getting LIFE for a few joints happened in some states!

Now, somewhere between 65% and 85% of the public supports the medical use of cannabis. 12 states have some form of medical cannabis, and other states will be voting on it soon. (I seem to remember something about 13 rebellious states! )

What happened? EDUCATION! Each of those people who changed their minds read something, were told something, or knew someone that educated them about cannabis!

Each of us needs to shoulder the responsibility to educate one more person about medical cannabis. There are 100,000,000 people in the US who have used cannabis. That is roughly 1/3 of the US population.
