I have a question about the cloning of a female plant.

I have one that is almost at the end of its flowering stage. The only branches that I could use had only one large fan leaf on the end of it. It was left too far away from the light and grew tall and lanky. I had others going at the time so I wasn't sure if this one was going to be a male or female. Turns out this thing has the largest bud clusters I have seen yet. So naturally I would like to clone her and grow properly this time to see what she does.

So like I said, there were no other branches to remove that show multiple nodes and other branches coming from it. Thats all I had to work with. I have clipped a couple of them off and tried to root them using all the guides I have seen so far. Its in a container with a clear lid to help with the humidity.

Just wondered if anyone else here has had any luck doing it this way, or do the branches have to have multiple "sub" branches.

Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.
