Can't cheatDoes anyone here believe that someday soon the law will just allow observation for ALL UA's? They know what people do in the way of cheating. We know thay have a hard-on and a war going against pot smokers. The DOT just revised some regs to allow observation and I know they grit their teeth hoping to be able to strip us down and observe to eliminate any cheating. With all this on the web and so public, there are no more secrets. Am I the only one that thinks it is inevitable....and sooner than later???? Any lawyers out there with an opinion??

It' appalling to me that the fed can and will use our money to bail out and reward big companies that have such shoddy unregulated practices yet they pretend they are so concerned about who smoked a joint 2 weeks before they hire you. The oppression and persecution is astounding and I cannot believe we aren't in the streets in rageful protest every friggin' day over this, the wars, the bailouts, the Bush policies etc. etc

Can't cheatThe only revision DOT made concerning observed testing is that observed testing is now mandatory on return-to-duty/follow up specimen collections.

Before the revisions, only the employer decided whether the return-to-duty collection should be observed.

Observed testing without cause is still prohibited under the revised regs.To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html

Can't cheatI do want to add that the revised regs were to go into effect back on 8/25/08, but was suspended by the DOT until 11/01/08 to allow public comments on the new ruling. Originally Posted by Burnt Toast

Can't cheatOnly time will tell Slant.

But it must be understood that fudging drug tests is nothing new to the DOT. The agency has been battling the issue ever since The Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act went into effect back in 1991. During this period, many regs concerning across-the-board observed collections without cause were proposed in an effort to combat cheating. And all were shot down. Privacy advocates prevail. Dont ask why. To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html
