4x4x4 grow box, give me some tips! [W/ PIC]

built it basically out of 4x4 plywood - 6 total pieces of weed. it is completely dark (when the door is closed). Any tips for drainage, ventilation, exhuast, etc. I can also have up to 48'' of flourescent lighting (or smaller, need tips on that) Any side can be against a wall and will remain in the garage.

How many plants do you think it could fit comfortably. I am germinizating some indica seeds right now.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

If your going flouro's T5's would be your best bet. Put exhaust vent high on one side and intake low on the other. You'll definitely want a fan. If your doing a standard type grow you should be able to get 5 or 6 plants in there. Keep them short.

Thanks for the reply. Would T12's be sufficient? T5's are a bit too pricy at lowes.

Side note: Be careful having something like that in your garage. Obviously, you know more than anyone how exposed your location is... but just be aware of your surroundings when you open it. If you live in a highly populated neighborhood... you want to see if anyone is coming down the road, walking, etc. It just takes one person to catch a glimpse of a huge spraypainted box (potentially with light beaming out) especially if that one person driving a police car. Not trying to suggest you start peeking through curtains or sitting in your driveway with binoculars, scanning the street, before you open the garage :jointsmile: haha. Just throwing some shit out there.

Thanks metal. Actually the garage is always closed because we park in front of it just for this situation =P Me and 2 roomates pitched in for the costs on everything, but yeah most definantly i dont want anybody to see the box.

you can always make a drape w/ pvc piping & whatever cloth you'd like to put over it, a big screen if you will. That way, you just have a big screen, its not as peculiar as a black box with ducting coming out of it, lol

looks like a nice box there, if you want a quick camo, get a tv box or 2 and glue it to the box, instant pile of boxes..
