that fan has an opening that i stuck the passive fan through. by having the MH that can damage the plants? i might have to go back tomorrow and just rearrange everything. thx for the info though.

sorry my post didnt make sense at all. what would be a safe distance to start out at? maybe like 5-6 feet?

alrite i have a bit of an update.

So as of today i have 2 Trains left the rest of the plants just didnt grow for

some reason their PH runoff was perfectly fine i took them out and put them


unders cfls and still nothing. temps were about 80's and i even reduced their

nute intake. but nothing! the weird thing is there was no sign of damage or

anything leaves were super dark green in color. as of these trains there doin

awsome! on their 3rd week of nutes and i actually transplanted into hempy

buckets from another log that has inspired me:thumbsup::thumbsup:

awsome grow to killa! so i took those outa the soil their in and into some

perlite/vermiculite AKA: HemyGrow. when i transplanted em the plants took

a beating i felt bad cause what i heard was the sound of roots snapping. so i

thought uh o. game over for these guys, Infact 1 of the trains were just

droopy and look like an old granpa that forgot where his cane was...lol (i

can picture that in my head) but anyways. so that same night i decided to

germ 4 purplewidow seeds which i have 3/4 that are in their 1st week of

seedling stage.

the next day which is today i went to check on the 2 Trainwrecks i had and

they just blew up! like no other, i was really amazed i thought i was going to

toss em. Man those things are beautiful in their 3rd week of veg and i just

FIMed one Lst the other just wanna see which will grow better. No pics as of

now but giving an update on their status. i dont know what ima do about the

seedlings since the fox farm schedule said i should flip them in 2 weeks.

maybe ill veg them till the seedlings are ready? any opinions?

yup i have the 2 remaining TWs in Hempys and i have 3 PurpleWidow seedlings waiting to go into hempys you were rite "Hempys dominate Soil"

8 5500k cfls
all in hempy buckets
temps are about 70-73
as for my nutes im using FF 3rd week which is growbig, and big bloom

this happend as soon as i introduced my ac unit into the tent..spider mights?

Hey purp....sorry about the problems.....a few questions?

1. Are you running soil or hydro grow big?
2. What PH are u feeding at?

My suggestion is to use the hydro grow big.....i have both(hydro/soil) and it seemed that it takes too much ph down(toxic levels) to get the soil grow big down to 5.8 ph which is about where the hempys like there nuts....Also, id mix them spectrums of your lighting....I see you have 8-5500k......I personally run the daylight 6500k cfl/ soft white 2700k cfl....2:1 mixture! Any questions i can help with but i think spider mites look like little burned spots all over the leaves and not large spots like in your pics....but then again....i never had a problem with mites!

wats up killa, im using the grow big for soil use.and my ph is fine i checked the runoff and it was about 6.5 range i think i just fixed my problem. What i just did was turn the mh back on and got really good ventilation up im talkin ac to the tent! lol and the nasty air outa the room. so im excited to see wats going to happen ina week ill probably veg for 2 more weeks then put into flower mode!

id change to the hydro one soon.....trust me....you will see better results.....plus u wanna drop that ph into hydro range around 5.8-6.0 max.

I lost this thread for a while, but now that I'm back...SUBSCRIBED...

I want to grow that strain in hydro soooo bad, do you plan on fimming and LSTing the PW too... I'd like to try fimming then lsting all the tops... I lst'd for the first time on my last grow, and was impressed with the outcome, the one plant I lst'd looked like a miniature X mas tree lot, All I have experience with is basically bagseed & some PK clones...Well enough with my babbling...lol...
