cheap hotels in amsterdam

im about to book a few days in amsterdam (29th march-1st april) & wanted to know if any of you, know of fairly cheap hotels near dam square or surrounding areas.i have found lots of expensive hotels but no b+b type.
im looking forward to a brekfast in barneys bar & sampling a few joints.

I am going there in about a week and a half and I am staying at the Victoria Hotel. It is right next to the train station. It is a total of 300 USD a night for a double. It is also a 4 star hotel which is nice. Its located near all of the great coffee shops in Amsterdam. Within walking distance of almost all. Im pumped to go to the Gray Area and the Greenhouse Tweed Kamer and Dampkring. Hope this helps!
