1st Grow / pix / Assistance?
Hi,
This is my first ever grow. I started with 2 plants; 1 was a male, the other a female. took care of the male before the female began flowering so no seeds on the female. Attached are a few pictures of the female. I have no idea what variety it is - any opinion would be appreciated.
Have some questions...
A) This has been grown outside throughout the summer. I am thinking about bringing this inside to finish the flowering/budding process. Should I do this or not?
B) Curious about starting a very small room somewhere safe, away from my property. Going to do it 'easy'. I have exterior limitations thus am forced to only use 1 or 2 fluorescent tube lights (40W I believe) (cool white or deluxe white) that I can plug in (not hardwired). I know more light is recommended through higher powered lamps but I need to stick with the fluorescents. Anyone have inexpensive but useful information/recommendations for this? I have read a lot about indoor growing & am not looking for anything but 'the basics'. Going to start with (possibly) bringing in the female from the outside then grow some clones or just from seed...
C) The plant, as judged from the pictures... how is the flowering thus far? It has been about 4 weeks since it began. The pictures were taken last week or so. I know to wait for the hairs to turn amber & whatnot but any idea when harvest would be? This is in the midwest.

Leave her outside there is no better light than the sun.
By the looks she has at least another month to go, do not go by the pistols color. go by the color of the trichromes. By what I see she has not even begun to ripen so be patient and keep updating.

14"?
Planted late?
Looks like a mostly Sativa hybrid, or Mexican bagweed, or
White Phantom Haze Pupleishious Widow Gum.
Am I messing with you?
Yes, a little.
I doubt if anyone could tell you about her genetics from a photo of an immature plant.
The good news is, it's a girl, "it's alive, it's alive," and healthy too!
Looks good for 4 weeks.
Now comes the fun part. I can see the "frost" starting on the bud leafs.
She should have some scent as well.
So, how does she smell?
Think I'll hang around and watch this one.
Good luck,
Weezard

All right so it makes sense to keep it outside for as long as I can. Temps have been hitting around 65 to 40 at night as of late so I want to make sure things are going to be ok in that department. First freeze right around Halloween in my kneck of the woods.
She was planted in mid May I suppose that is a little late. It's good to know that it looks ok for 4 weeks flowering; I thought it was not a lot of flower/bud at this point (judging from online pix I have seen)...
If I needed to - would it make sense in a few weeks to bring her inside & use some fluorescent lights going 12/12 to complete the budding process? I read quite a bit online via guides about what to do, techniques & whatnot....?
Thanks for the advice fellas. I shall leave her outside for as long as I can.

First is she in a pot now? well she will be if you bring her inside.
I would recomend bring her in when it gets realy cold at night. Then put her back out when it warms up. You can use florals when needed if it remains cold.
Just a sugestion BOL

White Phantom Haze Pupleishious Widow Gum.. Hahahaha!!!
I think you should leave them outside to finish. As has been said before, there's no better light than the sun.
These plant appears to be just beginning flower... It will start filling out in a couple weeks. I would estimate 4-6 more weeks til harvest... But definitely check the trichs and let that be your guide.
If you still want to try an inexpensive indoor grow, I suggest CFLs and hempy buckets....

If you do get CFL's use warm white for flowering and daylight for the vegetative stage.

Attached are some pictures 12 days later (than the pictures above)... I think she is progressing nicely(?) - plenty of sunlight & the nights have been not too bad for temperature... Still have some time to go on it though...
