Welcome! And from person experience, I can say it helps a lot. I hope she is avoiding salt, sugar and caffeine for that week before- that alone can make a difference! What you need to ask your dealer for is an indica strain, preferably one with a rep for "couch-lock". Indicas tend to have hard, compact buds and are better at killing pain. Avoid sativa strains- they are a better "party grass".

Cannabis is quite useful for monthly pain- it relaxes spasming muscles, eases pain and puts your head in a better place. Smoking give fast relief. "Edibles" give long lasting relief, but dosage can be tricky since it may take 3 hours for it to cut in.

Since you are new, you don't likely know what a miracle this plant is! I collect MMJ studies- a lot of studies (just realized not one is on dysmenorrhea, although women have been using cannabis for it forever- how odd and sexist! :wtf: ). Anyway, just click the link in my sig and start reading! You are about to get a real education!

And thank you for asking! Many dudes wouldn't touch this subject with a 10 foot pole! I think your gal's got a winner for a bf!

And invite her on over! We always can use another gal around here!
