Attempting Indoor Grow (input please? =D)

I didn't realize you were out in the country. I'm sure you could get away with soaking the granules in water and using that.

the 2500 to 3000k bulbs would be for flowering you can get em anywhere there also called warm white.

    thank you

I might try that through flowering on a couple and see if there's any difference

also very soon i'm gonna get a ph tester for the water and soil testers to test the level of nutreints because all i've had is something that measures 'light/fertility/ph/moisture/ but it's not worth a hoot besides the ph measuring but thanks for the input:stoned::stoned:

I have a problem...it's getting really cold like 39 degrees in the morning and this room is right next to a real big window that doesn't open up and the house is from like the 1920s and doesn't have any seal from the basement or outside and I have a bad feeling this isn't gonna be a good winter I dont see how many mornings they could take 45 degrees and lower temps or course a little space heater or something is an option but I need to look into getting a coupe spaces sealed up with no bugdet :wtf:

Well the babies have been in flowering for a little over a week now and I can already see pre-flowers showing on mama. Also I somewhat got the fan fixed up so it dont shut off and on quite as much now, I got a thermometer and humidity meter that measures temp in 2 places and I got a little electric heater that has a thermostat and I have it to kick on if temps drop below 65(hopefully) everything else looks pretty good they same to have taken the fact that I ripped their roots all the hell transplanting them right before flowering pretty well. Now my only problems are I'm still pending on nutrients and a t-5 fixture with 2 or 4 more 4' bulbs..now that would be great

Ok I have a question about my plants.

I dont know if this should be in the outdoor section(probably) but instead of making a new thread i'll just update this one.

I caught a couple males after putting them through flowering and I'm wondering if it takes around the same time for males seeds to fully mature as it does females to finish flowering.

I moved the two males I caught outside and it's getting colder. The tops of the seed sacs are turning purple which i believe is from the coldness. Also the first frost is coming in and i'm gonna have to bring them in for that night in order to try to keep them alive long enough to get beans.

Also i plan on borrowing the camera again and taking pics of my babies now, they're actually looking good now that they're in flowering with big, beautiful hairs and tricomes coming in good too

You won't need much from the males, watch the pollen sacks because when they start opening that pollen could drift for a mile. I'm not sure what you should do at this point but I know you can save some of the pollen sacks and pollinate a couple buds by hand that way you will still have some sensimilla to smoke.

well this was a pretty stupid question then...

I was wondering how long it takes them to get mature it sounds like a male dont' produce seeds? without pollinating a female??or are you just saying it's alot easier that way..

i'd like to pollenate a couple buds in order for some of these seeds im just worried of pollinatin the other plants in the room or pollinating too much i was gonna wait for a the male to mature but it's stupid to have them outside i run too much of a risk doing that all for a little bit of seeds =/

You're pretty much right, the female will produce seeds IF pollinated. From my understanding you can keep the male in a different room than the females under a few cfl's ect. and once the pollen sacks open you can take a plastic bag, shake the pollen off the male and pollinate just a few bud sites by placing the bag over the bud site and rub the bag on it. Just make sure pollen doesn't go everywhere Thats the key.
