Ever since I signed up here, I've seen several people with disclaimers in their signature. I have no idea why this is. Do you believe disclaimer will keep you from getting arrested or anything of the sort? I'm puzzled.

hm, I can't actually think of anyone that has a disclaimer in their sig, but I can only imagine that it's suppose to be funny and not to be taken too seriously.

To get in trouble in the 'real world', you have to get caught in the real world. Try not to attract the attention of real world authorities who might become interested in bagging the stupid kid with his picture on the internet standing next to a pot plant and then in a later post telling someone to go see his myspace... (yes I have seen that... it's like the survival of the fittest...) If you're a damn fool, no disclaimer in the world is going to save you lol.

Disclaimers are worthless. I see a lot of them in the satellite sites too. If you're busted how much weight do you think a disclaimer is going to carry?

The ones I've seen have mostly been in the sigs of those members who post pictures of grows. Although it would blow my mind if someone was busted for something they posted on here, I guess it makes some people feel more safe. So be it. There is nothing illegal about discussing MMJ on a public internet forum, and there's no chance in hell that a fed is going to try and track down one of us smokers for something we typed on a computer. I mean pot smokers are arested everyday, and it wouldn't suprise me if everyday a Cann.com member is fucked by the long dick of the law. And not just because they are a part of this community.

I'm sure lawyers around the world would have figured out a loophole as stupid as this by now.
