HD only has 400 watt but they do have MH & HPS. If you need larger wattage try 1000bulbs.com or call a local electric supply house. Most of them sell to the public they don't want to loose the business.

..........the HPS that is good for growing is called GROLUX.....GOOD entry level is 250 watts.......with GROLUX you grow BOTH cycles (VEGETATION and FLOWERING).....they are made so as to start and finish a grow with good results (they have RED BLUE & ORANGE spectrum) .....
MH bulbs are the BEST for vegetation because they contain mainly (if not only) the BLUE spectrum of light (plants use that in order to grow tall and large)
......now.....there are other HPS lights as was mentined above and not all of them are for grow......another good type of HPS is the SHP-TS which is better to be used for FLOWERING.....it is furthermore enhanced in ORANGE&RED spectrum of light (plants need that in order to produce large and thick flowers that we stonners refer to as BUDS full of trichomes)......so....now search for GROLUX, SHP-TS and MH bulbs.....

You can look here at the pictures. http://www.discount-hydro.com/lightbulbs.asp you will see the difference right away.
The multi-spectrum bulbs are very good. I guess I am just old school because with my MH to veg and HPS to flower I get the same as others in my circle who use multi-spectrum bulbs. The Idea of one bulb start to finish though may be the way to go for you and I do know they do work. For me I will stick to the same light cycle I have used for the last 20 years.
