first think about where your going to grow at. is it in a place you dont have to worry about odor or if you can control the temp easy. if money isnt a big deal stay away from high tech garden supply. they do have cheap set ups but the product is kind of cheap. if you buy a ballast then every reflector you get needs to be modified to use that ballast since the ballast doesnt have a removable cord. get a quality digital ballast. hightech has one for cheap but it has a fan cooling it. fans fail and there goes your ballast. ives seen some cheap lumatek ballasts on ebay for cheap. read the forum about grow room set ups and lighting.
