For the next couple weeks there will be random tests given out so I bought the quickfix 4.0 and already used the heating pad up, so I was wondering if I can use any type of heatingpad to keep the temp up ( the orange pack heating pads called "Grabber 12 Hour Personal Heating Pads")

Also I can microwave it in the mourning but since its random test I need to keep it warm for 8 hours. SO am i doing this right buy first

1. Microwaving it for 10 seconds in the mourning
2. Putting the heating pad on with rubberband right after microwave and keeping it placed around leg for the 8+ hours.

Is this right? OR am i making it to hot with the microwave and the heatingpad?? Most likely the random test will be within the first 3 hours of work but who knows for sure SO i want to be safe.

Someone whos been through this please help
