Some help with QF 4.0

For the next couple weeks there will be random tests given out so I bought the quickfix 4.0 and already used the heating pad up, so I was wondering if I can use any type of heatingpad to keep the temp up ( the orange pack heating pads called "Grabber 12 Hour Personal Heating Pads")

Also I can microwave it in the mourning but since its random test I need to keep it warm for 8 hours. SO am i doing this right buy first

1. Microwaving it for 10 seconds in the mourning
2. Putting the heating pad on with rubberband right after microwave and keeping it placed around leg for the 8+ hours.

Is this right? OR am i making it to hot with the microwave and the heatingpad?? Most likely the random test will be within the first 3 hours of work but who knows for sure SO i want to be safe.

Go to a dollar store you can buy cheap heating pads there.
I don't activate the pad till I've been called for a random. I just keep the QF and pad in my pocket till I my random. Then if I don't have access to a microwave I'll activate the pad and move both to my crotch. You don't have to be in a hurry to take the UA. Most people don't pee on command so just give the QF time to heat up.

If you know i the UA is going to be in the morning this would work. I just keep the QF and a heating pad in my pocket till I get the call then I just activate the pad and move them to my crotch. Don't have to be in a big hurry to pee. Just give it a half hour or so to work. I buy cheap heating pads at the dollar store so I can experiment.

So Ill put QF in the microwave for 10seconds in the mourning And then when i get to work I will activate the heating pad to keep it warm for the remainer of the day.

Now if I do that, Can it overheat??? Or will it just keep it warm?

Also wheres the best place to keep QF in storage when not being used? I dont want it to go bad. I just keep it back in the box in a drawer at home.

Also How many times can I reheat it? Can i keep reheating it everyday if i dont use it?

QF can be reheated and cooled as many times as you need without compromising its effectiveness. Sunlight has adverse effects with QF, so keep it out of the sun.

The best thing you can do in this situation is practice. Get a childs temp strip (or digital thermometer) and record the temperature. Heat it to 100 degrees and place it where you'll be carrying it. See how long it takes to dip below the desired temp. Attach a heat pad and see how hot it makes it and how long it takes to get there..

If you practice practice practice, you'll know what you have to do.
