Yellow edges and banding on my babies...

Hey, I'm a first timer and I've been having this problem with 3 of my four plants.

They're yellow around the edges with some lower leaves going completely yellow and eventually falling off.

-I initially thought it was a nitrogen issue so I added seabird guano. That didn't seem to help.
-When that didn't work, I raised the light (it was a little close)
-Tried lowering the PH of the water, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Am I setting the PH of the WATER to 5.5-6.5 or am I making the water over-acidic so that I can get the SOIL to 5.5-6.5? I have to make the water very low to get the PH of the soil to 6.5, and even then it'll go back up to 7 after a day or so.

    symptoms:
-yellow leaf edges, with some of them having an "alligator skin" appearance. This started at the lower leaves and then spread to all of them.
-Leaves at the bottom are yellowing.
-One leaf on one plant has developed little purplish spots that seem to me like a potassium deficiency. I haven't added potassium yet because I'm hoping that the PH thing takes care of it.

I hope I can get this resolved soon. I want to take some clones and start flowering, but I want them to be healthy first.

    I've attached some pictures below

idk man almost all my plants, once they reach a certin hight, the bo0ttom leaves just always seem to die off, usually yellowingm, then dryting out, then wilting, usually i tend to pull these leaves off, seeing as plants dont bud that low, and it will give the plant more strewngth to build the m,ain cola. if ur only seeing this on the bottom 2, 3 nodes i think ur good, but iof it moves up u have problems. if its not low N then it could be over water

At first it was just on the bottoms, but now it's spread almost all the way up the plants. I water them about every other day or so, once the soil is dry to about a 1/2 inch down.

Significant metals lockout, possibly zinc most severe, plus magnesium.
Too dry air and/or too close lights.
    Significantly rootbound.
    Plants too deep in pots.

Flsuh to bring your soil to pH 6.7, using PLANT pH up/down. Use 3x the volume of the pots. Then feed with a complete fert with micronutes at pH 6.7.

Then wait until the soil dries out and re-pot to a pot that is one gallon for every foot of main stem. Soil level should be within an inch of the top of the pot so as not to restirct air flow across the soil surface.

    Surfrat- looks like sodium toxicity.
FLUSH well with distilled water if you suspect the sodium is coming from your tap water, and then go back to feeding a complete fertilizer with micronutes at 1/2 strength, working up as the plants' health improves.
Also check your runoff pH and if it is not in range, fix it according to the soil chem link in my sig.
