DaBuddaS: If you knew me, you would think differently of one person in the world. I did not learn unconditional love, until I was 30. So, I just peeked, you have some time yet! Hope it doesn't take you as long as me.

DoN: Respect your opinion and understand so much more. Thanks for the insight.

Coelho: What can I say :jumphappy: U make me want to go to Brazil! Every since I read your first thread!! I'm red faced! Your post was extremely interesting and I like to read more of true feelings, such as yours! Now, I know, you must protect yourself for putting yourself 'out there' and not having that full feeling of love! I believe love is learned, as all behavior is! I had to learn it!

I actually learned it from a dog. Dam thing, was so stubborn, hard to train, 2 yr. old and a pain (could go on) but the biggest challenge of my life at that point! You could not keep him in a house (15 lb Shih tzu). No matter what I did to him or how much I scolded him, I just loved that little guy so much, I had never felt like that. I yell 'No" and he would run up to me with his little tongue hanging out, panting, tapping his front feet and bouncie! Such cheerful eyes and loyal! My best friend at the time was a psychotherapist! I told her, I just love that little dog and I don't understand it. I can't wait to get home from work or take him for a ride, whatever. It seems so odd for me! She said: "That's unconditional love!" He died a few years later, unexpectedly--I was a wreck for many months. For the first time in my life! That is when the light went on! This is what we need to do for each other, as people! So, I apply it in my life, without notice now! I still have dogs, though. Even if I am having to go to court to get them back right now, I love that little funny happy furry face. Problem is: I have never felt that from another human being! It is a time thing, it never happens over night. EVen with a dog, it takes time!

Now, cheapseats.com here I come!!! Take care you are special! PR
