I think that line sums up humanity in general. Man always tries to feel like we were MEANT to do something, when in fact I dont believe we were MEANT to do anything at all. Of course, I'm skewing this line to my own ends, but whatever. I've always felt that man is just here to make our own way, to do the best that we can with what we have. Sometimes I feel like we overestimate ourselves, in that we search for peace, zen, internal balance, ya know, nirvana, that type of thing. I feel like its not actually something our psyches can even achieve. But we also underestimate ourselves, or rather we underestimate each other and what we can do. Complicated.
