It's nearly impossible to tell without smoking it unless you can associate the smells and the looks/leaf size. Usually indicas have broader "palm" leafs while sativas have narrower "finger" leafs.

Most of today's sativas are hybrids strictly because it allows shorter flowering cycles and increase the usually small sativa yield.
Grade A Reviewed by Grade A on . Hard to find pure sativa? I think I have had a pure sativa before, the high was incredibly clear-headed and didn't have the sometimes annoying body effects. But around here (Rural WV) all I can get is what I think is an Indica/Sativa hybrid. I don't think I've ever had pure indica, because you get a mellow body high (from what I've heard). So is it hard for you guys to find a pure sativa/indica? How can I tell if it's pure sativa, besides smoking it? Patrick Rating: 5
