For my Republicans Club at school I got to meet Senator Brownback (among others)

I'm from kansas and met sen. brownback once. When I shook his hand I said " nice to meet you senator brown nose". He laughed his ass off. I agree with him on just about nothing but he seemed like a pretty good guy, to my surprise.

I'm glad you guys like my efforts.

I'll never forget where I came from or who I am when it comes to politics, and I am a functional pothead representing Cannabis.com and medical marijuana reform, at least I am when I'm in political mode in public!

Today I made a shit load of phone calls asking people (mostly Independents, the elderly and 3rd parties) basic questions like who they support for president, local governement, what their main issues are this election and whether they would like to help support the Reoublican Party of Pennsylvania.

Most people were very nice on the phone however I did get 2-3 assholes who copped a attitude. I called a 250+ people and I only had 2 pro Obama supporters and 4-5 Undecided and everyone else was for McCain. McCain and Obama are neck and neck in Pennsylvania.

I got John's family a yard sign, a McCain one because EVERYTHING with Palin's name or likeness on it dissapears right away haha, and sooo many people want one for their yard. I also got this cool yellow McCain towel for volunteering today.

I'm having a lot of fun!

Well they work for you and me. It's not a privellage for them to talk to us. We own THEM. We can never allow them to think for one minute that American's are gonna just lay down and take whatever they want to dish out.

I feel we should constantly remind them that they are on a very short leash and that if we are displeased enough that we can and WILL knock that smug look right off their faces.

I make it clear that I don't agree with his views.

It was still cool to get to meet a politician and speak to him about something I'm serious about.

(Oh and Mr.Spector (Or Sphincter, as we say around Pittsburgh) from Pennsylvania is indeed one of the shadiest politicians alive, good list)

    This is complete nonsense:
snopes.com: Social Security for Illegal Aliens

rebgirl - ooh, looks like i'll have to redouble my efforts for Obama! the list they gave you was most likely registered republicans or people who had signed up on John McCain's web site. I had a similar list for Obama, and got no republicans at all when i called. this was for ohio though.

    Your wrong in this one.

I called only independents and third parties.

We also focused on the elderly, but only if they were independent.

It's completely nonsense because you gave me some reference to an independent website....
Anyway you may be right, I'll have to look into this how exciting.
