Drug czar John Walters isnâ??t really a free-exchange-of-ideas kind of public servant, so MPPâ??s Aaron Houston and I took the opportunity to ask him a couple questions last week at his press conference announcing the latest National Survey on Drug Use and Health.

In Waltersâ?? mind itâ??s bad that kids perceive marijuana as less harmful than methamphetamine, his disreputable anti-marijuana ads work like a charm, and the latest statistics prove that the only way to reduce drug use is by prohibiting marijuana. Oh, but great news â?? nobody goes to jail for marijuana, and we donâ??t arrest 800,000 Americans for marijuana each year.

cuz with such a nutjob @ top of hierarchy of drug enforcement and with him sayin this crap in 2008 i either have to 4get marijuana 4ever or have to find an established cause for medical use in me or just move the hell out!!

Drug Czar (Czar? what is this Russia!!! ) John Walters is doing his job as directed to him by the HHS and DEA and BUSH :admin1:. Even though Walters turns it 180 degrees by saying that today's parents are hurting the government's anti-marijuana campaign by minimizing the dangers of marijuana use could be better put as "The Truth Hurts." i.e. that Marijuana Does have an EXCEPTED MEDICAL USE IN THE U.S., ever since California legalized Medical Marijuana. Plus ever since 1986 when it was said, "Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest and most therapuetically active substances known. For the DEA to continue to stand between those sufferer's and the substance would be arbitrary, unreasonable and capricious"-Francis L. Young, DEA Chief Administrative Law Judge, 1986 :thumbsup:. The Supreme Court ruled that the DEA has the right to ignore the suggestions of the Administrative Law Judge , then Francis was told to re-do his paper this time focusing only on the negative aspects of marijuana in order to keep the "Reefer Madness" alive and kickin. Rather than promote propaganda Francis resigned. What a messed up government we have. I qualify for Medical Marijuana in any state where it is legal. But I live in Iowa where marijuana is considered as addictive and harmful as heroin. Never mind the fact that in Des Moines, Iowa, you can easily get on one of two Methadone Maintenance Programs and become a legal junkie with a steady source of consistant quality narcotics. I know people here who legally get over 300 10 mg Methadone pills and 225 8 mg Dilaudid pills a month yet marijuana is illegal??? Where is the sense in that :wtf:? I am being forced to move to a Legal Medical Marijuana State for the control of chronic nausea and vomiting from Diabetic Neuropathic Gastroparesis, and this is a "FREE" country :yeahright:??? Legalize Medical and Personal Use of Cannabis TODAY!!! But, OH NO, that would cause the collapse of the Marijuana Black Market which would cause this country great economic distress, for the flow of the billions of dollars of illegal drug money is vital to our economy, whether you know it or not, this is what's happening in our government today. Not to mention that the big pharma's make up over 50% of the Fortune 500 companies, they certainly don't want you to grow your own medicine. Question: If the U.S. Government is so anti-marijuana, why did they buy all the patents of any theraputic drugs that come from the cannibis plant in the future? Answer that one if you can :wtf3: Peace...:420thought:
