Problem mechanical timers (not shutting off) & lighting on seedlings Q?
Thank you Chrissy, very good info and it makes a lot of sense. Now I wish I'd read that post earlier. I already put the cubes into soil.
It felt like a slightly bad idea as I was doing it (just for the sake of doing two different things and shocking the babies) but like a dummy I did it anyway. My brain has an acute case of the farts today. I am hoping they will be OK since they're still in their cubes just with soil around them. *nervous*
Here are photos of what's going on:

Good temp, good humidity and decent circulation and light breeze in there. I have my fingers crossed.PlainJane Reviewed by PlainJane on . Problem mechanical timers (not shutting off) & lighting on seedlings Q? I've now had two timers "go bad" on me. This is a problem because obviously I can't be constantly worrying if my shit is working. I got a mechanical electric timer (you know, the push the little knobby bits up or down on a dial kind) and it worked for a day but then decided it didn't want to go off when it was in the off section. Nothing would override that. Now I have a second one (different brand) which is doing the same thing, except if you push the override button it does shut Rating: 5
