Need Help germinating.
Ok as much as i have read i still dont understand how to go about this. My goal is to use a DWC for my grow. But the one thing thats bothering me is the seed germination. I have read about many methods of course the wet towel trick and a test tube. But what if i need to stick them in cocos? do i stick the seed in the coco and let it spread there? also if im correct i need to soak the cocos 24hrs in ph adjusted water. any help please :stoned:

soobie, I'm four weeks into a coco grow from seeds, and I'm having dramatic results so far. Make certain you have pre-washed coco, and flush it again. I put the germ'ed seeds straight into the coco, that has been presoaked with 1/4 strength Botanicare organic solution. Just use straight water on them until the first 'real' leaves grow. you can go to my grow for more information if you wish...B

Yep... put them in some wet paper towels in a sealed container (Glad Ware works great!) and keep the container in a warm spot (85-90 degrees is about perfect) for a day or two... You should see tails poking out within 24-72 hours. Once you have tails, carefully place the babies in whatever you're going to grow them in, with the tails pointing down. Voila!
Best of luck on your grow
