I'm at work right now by the ship channel. We still have power here. I don't know about my house though. One of my friends in Mission Bend have also lost power, but it's weird because my other friend in the same neighborhood still has power.

I'm monitoring this from work.. I just hope it doesn't destroy the windows in my apartment or anything. We'll see.

I live in extreme southeast kansas, so I'm not worried, but it looks like we have alot of rain heading our way. Should be fine as long as it doesn't spawn tornadoes. Not unheard of around here of course. But I've never seen one, so we're gonna play storm chaser if it gets bad. Poor judgement perhaps, but on the scale of dumb shit I've done it's not even top ten.

well it seems now that it has decided to leave texas earlier than expected... it was forecasted to pass just to the east of DFW but its now taking a sharper turn and skipping OK and directly going towards arkansas... so i think kansas is pretty much gonna be safe from windy weather...

u guys better show up soon. its getting silent around here without texas_grass and daihashi. im sure utilities are screwed up for a good couple of weeks. hell my entire college system closed down till further notice!
yay more holidays for me in d town:jointsmile:

no but seriously, as soon as yall get a chance, hit us back up here so we know u (& ur grow) made it thru, do the roll call!

I am yet to hit the road back to htown, got my neighbor to check on my apt and he said there seems to be no visible damage from outside which made me feel a whole lot better

but since school is closed and gas, food and water are scarce right now, i will wait until i get word that the really hard part is over...i dont wanna go back where i wont have water or electricity to live with or have to wait hours for gas or food in lines...

i heard G dubbya was in town earlier today, hopefully-TX bein his home state and houston being a major metro area in the nation-he has pushed officials in private to speed things up... i heard fema really was screwing things up within the first 30-50 hours after storm landfall, but apparently some1 set them str8 not to play the finger pointing and do something instead this time around after Katrina and NOLA

hope to hear back soon from yall and to be back to a normal(er) looking area!

man i hope everyone is safe! hurricanes are no fun.

I live on the gulf coast of mississippi and went through katrina so i know what happens after a major hurricane. No power or water for a month, its freakin brutal!

Hope everything is ok for the people of Galveston and everyone else that suffered.

still without power and I live in the heart of houston. This is very frustrating.

I've been keeping some updates in my grow log. I hope these young plants make it. I think they can only go through another week of this before the damage to my plants is irreversible.

there in lies the problem.. no stealth near by. I live smack dab in the middle of the city.

I think I'll have power in the next week.. I anticipate they will probably take a full week to recover assuming they aren't dead by then. If nothing else I have 5 more seeds I can try .. they were kind of funky so if I have to go that route it will be a crap shoot if I get a healthy plant to mother.

I miss not getting my daily 5 hour dose of canna.com lol :hippy:

on the bright side.. I'm still vaping. <3 power inverter and my car.
