not a good news at all
Texas law keeps rebuilding after Ike in limbo - CNN.com

i certainly would be mad as hell if they wanted to take my property for any reason, let alone without any compensation at all...

especially now... and especially if my house was unharmed and standing there

how come since 1960 the state has not done shit about this, they have been waiting for mother natures moment to seize the opportunity??? and NOW, RIGHT NOW they wanna do it?

1st of all who is to tell ppl where they cant build a house, in many other countries ppl make buildings in death zones, but with enough strength to withstand mother natures wrath... Japan and eastern asia have constant earthquakes that hardly have any casualties, they have typhoons but they dont build their structures from WOOD & ROCKSHEETS right by the sea!

its called reinforced concrete folks, if i had the money and i wanted to build on such a location i would use it and i would certainly protest the law thru courts
