Well Mellow, its nice to hear of a fellow guitarist. I like basically all the music you mentioned besides for Joe satriani and yngwie...theyre a little too gay for my taste, I mean their phenominal virtuosa's, but I dont like em. Ive been playing of blues, I suggest you try-its good for learning to build kick ass rock and roll solo's. I suggest you check out the roots of rock guitar like zep and acdc, and listen to some Robert Johnson, Django rienhart(was in an accident and his pinkie and ring finger were fused together into like a flipper finger lol, but he was great), buddy guy, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray, the good old stuff. But mainly dude....dont play what you learn like a techi guitarist, play what you feel man, if it feels right, it is right.

I like music like metallica, jimi hendrix, stevie ray vaughan, joe satriani, iron maiden, santana, bob marley, ACDC, yngwie, etc.... Mostly metal and rock. So if u guys would have any advice on good musically advanced groups or whetever that would be pretty cool because i'd like to discover new music or to take the time to hear some. So thx in advance!
